Sustainable Vacation: A Commitment Rooted in the Earth

Care, love and respect for this area are not simply words for us aligned with a business trend, nor are they tools for acquiring new customers. Our land, rich in history, beauty and traditions, does not need this. Instead, these values represent deep convictions rooted in our identity and the way we live and work.
We have inhabited this land for generations, know it intimately and experience it with pride. For us, sustainability is not a slogan, but the core on which our hospitality is based. Every choice we make is guided by the desire to protect this natural and cultural heritage so that it can remain a healthy land for future generations, a land that your children can love as we do.

our concrete commitment to the environment

Here are some examples of how simple and natural it can be to act with awareness: we provide our guests with a free dispenser of microfiltered water and refrigerated, both natural and sparkling, to reduce plastic consumption. In 2024 alone, thanks to this system, we avoided the use of more than 20,000 PET bottles!

The commitment to sustainability continues with:

  • Two batteries of solar panels for heating domestic water and the facility Casa Tonelli.
  • A 30 kW photovoltaic system and electricity supply exclusively from companies that produce energy from 100% renewable sources.
  • Low-impact lighting through the use of Class A lamps and LEDs, automatic shut-off systems when users are not present, and reduction of night lighting by up to 80 percent from midnight.
  • Monitoring consumption on pitches to provide guests with conscious and autonomous energy management, ensuring comfort without waste.
  • City-bikes at subsidized prices to encourage sustainable travel and reduce car use.
  • Each guest is entitled to apply for the Garda-Guest Card which, among a variety of opportunities, entitles them to use public transportation free of charge throughout the Trentino region.
  • Sustainable building
The building intended for services and the most-recent guest housing units, built in 2017, was constructed entirely of X-Lam glued laminated timber, without the use of chemical additives or toxic mortars. The structure has been dry-finished with gypsum board, providing excellent thermal and acoustic insulation for a comfortable stay.

Attention to green care:

  • Our botanical park is protected with state-of-the-art organic defense techniques, without the use of pesticides.
  • We have a dual water supply: drinking water from the public aqueduct and groundwater, which is used for irrigation and toilet flushing where it is not required to be potable.
  • Strategic planting arrangements and targeted pruning create an ideal microclimate: they protect against spring winds, allow optimal solar radiation in the midseason, and provide cool shade in the warmer months, thus reducing the need for heating and cooling.

bistro

a taste of the land and solidarity

In our bistro you will find a selection of local wines to support local farmers and the delicate landscape of grape and olive cultivation, often grown with great effort under difficult environmental conditions.

Small daily choices that result in a great commitment to the environment, without giving anything up, but with awareness and respect for our wonderful land.
